Ecotec floorfoam prevents cold air penetrating rooms through concrete and timber floors and helps prevent condensation and draughts while helping dampen any sound. Floorfoam is made from 4mm of high density polyester foam with a highly reflective true aluminium foil on either side. The high performing insulation kit comes on an easy to handle 1 2m x 25m roll covering 30 square metres which is enough for 2 rooms in most houses. Whilst heat rises it is also very important to insulate the floors as part of the total building envelope.
